Mullein is used primarily as an expectorant to clear lung congestion and suppress spasmodic coughs. It also contains mucilage which will help soothe a sore, irritated throat. The leaves may also be smoked to assist bronchial congestion and coughs.

1-2 tsp/cup, steep covered 10 minutes. Drink 3 times daily.
