With Wisdom Gained from Grassroots Skills, in 2018, Talishia embarked on a transformative journey, giving life to her vision of holistic well-being and sustainability through the creation of Made For The Earth. Rooted in her profound passions for gardening, writing, film, art, and wellness, this endeavor has blossomed into a thriving sanctuary for a diverse herbal community. Guided by her dedication and inspired by the wisdom gained from a grassroots approach to her skills, as well as her training under Master Herbalist Kathy Dunn, Talishia's mission with Made For The Earth is clear: to elevate the collective consciousness of our planet. Her mission is to bring people the healing of plants by enabling them to own and grow our old traditional herbs back into our gardens. With the invaluable support of David, her partner who is qualified in horticulture, they are dedicated to sharing knowledge and providing empowering tools. Together, they aspire to catalyze positive change on a global scale, fostering a brighter and more harmonious world for all.

Our Plant Nursery
Located approximately 80 minutes north of Perth, Western Australia, our small and sustainable plant nursery grows more than 80 varieties of medicinal herbs and fruit trees. Our mission is to inspire and educate gardeners to cultivate their own medicine gardens in the most sustainable way possible. Through our platform, we aim to connect and share with others the true and wild beauty of plants.
We are committed to sourcing the purest and highest quality seeds and seed starters for all of our plants. Made For The Earth is dedicated to reducing our carbon emissions and minimizing plastic usage.
Our Seeds
Our seeds are open-pollinated heirloom varieties that have been grown in Perth, Western Australia. We take pride in harvesting and packing them ourselves, ensuring that they are free from chemical treatments. To nourish these seeds, we use only the finest organic fertilizers and nursery-made compost.
We are committed to preserving traditional seed varieties, and do not sell any GMO or hybrid seeds or seedlings. Our focus is on providing the highest quality, open-pollinated heirloom seeds that are both environmentally sustainable and promote biodiversity.
